Carlie is our fawn brindle girl. She is the first brindle we ever owned and as a reverse brindle, she still has a beautiful coat that changes all the time. She was our "wild child" as she was growing up. She felt like there were to many women in the house and secretly planned to "off" me so she could have daddy to herself! The days she knocked me on the concrete by jumping on me was about all I could take from her. She looked at me and told me she jumped on me because she loved me.. uh huh.. sure ya do.. I told her that there was room for both of us and that daddy would still love her if she let me stay. :)
We have gotten along ever since and she is a wonderful family dog, with a heart of gold and I still think, if she could, she would live in Brians pocket. That's ok with me. She hasn't shared the cooking and cleaning chores yet, but she did bless us with 15 puppies her first litter and 16 the next! Perhaps done on purpose knowing it would keep me busy, but none the less, she is the mother of our girl Polly, and for that I will be forever grateful to her.
She knows no stranger and loves being with our family and on her favorite chair. She has grown to be favorite in our house and we love her dearly.
